Delhi Police Officer’s Mess situated at 11 Alipur Road, Civil Lines, Delhi is a Heritage building. As an Officer’s Mess, it was inaugurated by Shri Raja Vijay Karan, the then Hon’ble Commissioner of Police, Delhi, on 8th December, 1989. The Mess has two lawns (front lawn and a side lawn), apart from the Lounge, Dining Hall, Bar, Billiard table etc. It is located within 2 Kms from ISBT and Old Delhi Railway Station. Famous sites like Red Fort, Chandni Chowk, Sadar Bazar, Delhi University and Delhi Vidhan Sabha are in close proximity. The Mess is open for bookings for marriages, receptions, birthday functions of the Gazetted Officers and their relatives. About 30 vehicles can be parked inside the Mess Complex and arrangement of parking outside the complex is also available. Catering arrangements for the functions is done by the hosts through empanelled caterers of the Officer’s choice. There is no facility of rooms for stay in the Mess.
