The Transit Hostel for the Delhi Police Officer’s is located at the 4 th floor of DCP IGI Airport Office building. There are total three double-bedded rooms all attached with washrooms. Out of the three double- bedded rooms, two are being used as Transit Mess, having a small attached kitchen and one room is reserved as an Emergency Room in the event of any eventuality or contingent situation at IGI Airport. It is placed at the sole disposal of the Commissioner of Police, Delhi.

It is close to Terminal 3 of IGI Airport and is easily accessible from IGI Airport Metro station. All permanent members of the Delhi Police Officer’s Mess, PS/lGl Airport, Terminal-3, IGI Airport, New Delhi, as defined in Para 3(A)(i) of Delhi Police Mess Rules (SO No. 301/2011) are ipso facto members of the ”Transit Mess”.
